Goathland Parish Council consists of seven volunteer councillors and our parish
clerk. We meet at 7.15pm on the first Wednesday of every month in the
village hall and members of the parish are more than welcome to attend. If there is anything you wish to discuss or concerns you want to raise
we have public speaking at the beginning of every meeting from 7.15 - 7.30pm.
The
responsibilities of the Parish Council are varied. As
councillors we liaise with relevant authorities regarding infrastructure,
policies and community issues that affect the village. We approve and maintain village memorials and we
review and comment on any planning applications within the parish. If you have any
questions or comments you can contact us through this site, by email or
by phone. We are here to represent the village so we would appreciate
any feedback you have.
